About the Ride4th Annual Tour de BrooklynThe Tour de Brooklyn is an exciting FREE fun family bike tour through 18 miles of Brooklyn. Each year the route changes to highlight the diverse neighborhoods of the borough. The tour will be escorted by NYPD as a rolling parade (intersections will be blocked) and will travel at 10-12 miles per hour. Registration is required; limited day of registration will be available at the Start. Helmets are required for ages 14 and under. Brooklyn Bridge 125th Birthday Children's Parade- City Hall Park, ManhattanWe are celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge and we want to celebrate this day with a Children’s Parade starting at City Hall Park. Children (18 and under), accompanied by a parent or guardian are welcomed to join us. Registration is required; limited day of registration will be available at the Start. Arrive at 7 am to check in; the parade leaves promptly at 8 am and will end at the start of the Tour de Brooklyn (Water St. and New Dock St.). Parents and children are welcomed to continue on the official Tour de Brooklyn. 4th Annual Tour de Brooklyn – Water St. and New Dock St, BrooklynThis year's tour is an exciting 18 mile ride; we will ride by Brooklyn's waterfronts, Atlantic Yards, Eastern Parkway with a brief rest stop at Maria Hernandez Park, continuing towards East Williamsburg and into the exclusive Brooklyn Navy Yards. The ride will wrap up at Walt Whitman Park around 1 pm. Sunday May 25th, 2008 Check-in: 8 am We ride rain or shine! Riding in NYC
